Twitter gives Photo pre-float Tweak

On Wednesday October 30, 2013 Twitter has redesigned the way posts to the social network are displayed to allow images and video previews to be shown in its timeline feed.

Before users had to click on a link to see the associated media, which was a bit frustrating and not so entertaining. With this new approach both users and viewers are able to comment and share appropriately on video and images immensely without any obstructions. Personally after updating my twitter account, I was able to tweet pictures and videos comfortably on my timeline. The GUI is amazing and easily to interpret, plus it gives my twitter friends a more clear image on what i am talking about when tweeting my post. This update is available for smartphones, tablet and PC's.

This innovative approach came with efforts by the company to promote itself to investors before the backing of its shares. Twitter on a hold is seeking to make their company more interactive and advertising as they seek on improving the quality in service and interfaces.

Although there are many questions and doubt as to aspect of which the new content is displayed but in time people will adapt quickly to the new format. My hope is that with this new venture, twitter should be more globally recognize and used more in interacting and communicating, especially in the field of advertising.

Will twitter ever meet up with the standards of Facebook ? a questions i always ask myself as I socialize among these platforms.

Cars That Communicate with Each Other and the Road

Effective, efficient communication is essential to the success of many as a venture. Because of this, a disruption in communication can often have disastrous results.

Not only must information be communicated, but it must be communicated on time. A delay in communication can be just as bad as no communication at all.

Car manufactures and the US government are seriously looking into and researching technology that will enable future cars communicate with each other and with objects around them. A developing technology called vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) is been tested by automotive manufactures to help reduce amount of accidents on the road.

V2V works by using wireless signals to communicate between vehicles about their location, speed and direction. It provides information in order to keep the vehicles in safe distances from each other. It can also produce V2V algorithms that calculate information from cars to determine what the best evasive measure should be if another car started coming into its own projected path.

This system will definitely be helpful in avoiding road fatalities or it can bring more concerns in full proof safety of pedestrians. It is still in the processing and developing but hopefully it should open a new era in safety of vehicle transportation not just in the United States but globally.

Telecommunications

Telecommunication is the art of communicating at a distance, from the earliest as smoke signal, horse back riding(Pony Express) and telegraph. Today a little more than century later, most of the world is covered by a vast, complex telephone network. Any two people with access to a phone can speak to each other within seconds, regardless of where they are located physically.

The most popular medium used today in telecommunication is wifi. A wireless network uses radio waves to transmit data from one area to another area. This process can also works in reverse, with the router receiving information from the internet, translating it into a radio signal and sending it to the device wireless adapter.

With this system most devices made today is equip with this as a major form of communication.
Smartphones, computers, tablets, televisions, gaming console etc as long as they all have wireless adapters can use routers to connect to the internet.

After reading this article i have a more interest in telecommunications, how far will scientist go once more again. The use of radio waves use to communicate and record data has just begun. Soon it will be able to use in many other aspects not just telecommunications but beyond.

Blackberry Finally Announces New BBM Launch Details for Android and Iphone

With the revenue slumps and the Amid job cuts Blackberry as a company has failed trying to close the gap with rivals Apple and Samsung. In September, there were reports that Blackberry was exiting the consumer market to concentrate on providing services to business customers.

On Monday 21st October 2013, Blackberry announced new launch details; BBM (Blackberry Messenger) for android and iPhone. Due to last month's server troubles, the company is implementing a queue system. In other words those who signed up in advance can use BBM right away, while latecomers will have to secure a spot in line.

The released version has been installed on at least one million Android handsets and a further one million iPhones.

Andrew Bocking, head of BBM, said: "Our team of developers and engineers has been working around the clock to bring you BBM and make some upgrades while we're at it. Some incredible work has been done."

But BBM has proved very popular, particularly with youngsters. The software offers an alternative to SMS messages which cost money on some subscription plans as well as other voice and screen sharing capabilities.

With this new approach will Blackberry still have hopes on the global market? What other sources or ideas Blackberry will come with as the company aims on recovering or rising from the slumber it is?
These are some of the questions ask today as I venture in the technology era.
