India's Space trip to Mars

India is preparing to send a robotic spacecraft into orbit around Mars. This will be the country's first exploration trip to Mars, making it the fourth country to initiate such a trip.

The main purpose of the trip is to observe and record the planetary orbit and the presence of methane in the Martian environment. The space shuttle is intended to leave earth orbit by the end of November and will take approximately 300 days in outer space. All detail information will be sent and receive via satellite dish.

This venture by India will close the gap between long rival China in the race in space exploration. Again India has been on the brink rise in technology and is continuing to be the main spot light by other countries.

I expect many and more positive innovative techniques in the technology field coming from India in years to come. I only wish Grenada in the future can think and presume technology, not only just telecommunications but in space exploration as well.

  2. If I remember my chemistry and biology right, Methane is a flammable gas that is given off from the rotten and waste from life forms. Basically if the robot is designed to detect methane in mars atmosphere, they're still trying to find out if there is any life on mars. At least that's what I think.
