Should Computers have Emotions?

Emotion is a strong feeling deriving from one's circumstances, mood or relationships with others.
As people interact and use computers on a daily basis, I question myself, should computers have emotions to interact with humans ? Will emotions help a computer in interacting with humans result in more productivity ?

As we grow more in the technology world, we aspire more interaction from computers to be more accurate and efficient . Smartphones, tablets and computers are on the demand now, making life on a hold more interesting and easier to communicate.

With the crucial aspect of interaction scientists are always looking for a simple and agile way to connect with computers and robots.

Therefore making computers and robots more user friendly so that an average person can person can perform complex and simple functions of a computer.

I feel if computers are more embedded with emotions they can understand humans expectations more.

Enabling to leave room for zero errors, in other words to be flawless and prefect. People are already developing computers and robots with the techniques of human beings.

To me I will always follow up and seek into experimental operations of robotics and computer technology when it comes to human computer interaction.

  1. computers already has some human emotions the only difference is the computer uses the emotions because they are programmed into it but it cannot really show it or understand it.

  2. Its true that we all want our machines to be better able to interact with us, but there is a single most important reason why they called machines; so that they don't feel anything. Trying to humanize computers may bring to life the belief that they are indeed taking over the world. I mean sometimes I really wish my PC can tell me how its feeling after a blue screen or something but...human emotions?? Nah...we have seen it in movies and so on where the machines actually talk back like real life human beings and I mean a major emotion is ANGER...so what happens when my computer gets upset at me ??? HUMMMM
