Traffic ticket for Google Glass wearer

On 30th October, Cecilia Abadie, a Californian woman was pulled over by a traffic officer an was issued with a ticket for speeding and wearing the smart spectacles while driving.

She was accused for breaking the law which prohibits people from watching television while driving. Now she argued in her defense the device was turned off and she is a custom in driving with it on, on a daily basis.

Now this raise my interest as a couple of days ago in Grenada, where the issue of driving while talking on a cellular phone could become an offense in the traffic rules and regulations. If the Google glasses is already causing concerns in the USA, what will happen for Grenada when the technology will soon reached the shores of the island !
How will the public co operate with this type of technology as it is associated with the traffic laws and regulations ? Many concerns and views I have about this but I guess time will soon tell

  1. Yea i agree but lets look at it this way most people won't be able to afford it now until years after it as become cheap. There will be alot of issue because right now cell phones are already causing alot of problems so the goggle glass will just make it worst so i thing a law should be in place for this.

  2. Obviously a device such as this would just fit in with the world..*pop*..just like that. It's distraction sitting death in the field of vision, of course it will cause problems, mostly due to the fact that human beings are poor at multitasking.
